We are committed to maintaining compliance with all the applicable regulations and industry standards to ensure the safety of our employees and community members.
We maintain a safe, drug-free, high-work-ethic environment for our employees. Prior to employment, each qualifying candidate goes through comprehensive background screening and drug testing. At the time of employment and prior to beginning work duties, all new employees are required to complete safety training, which includes OSHA 10-hour, H2S and other various oilfield safety training as well as Client specific safety orientation programs. Ongoing job evaluations and salary raises highly depend on each employee’s completion of various safety training programs.
Steier Oilfield Service is an active participant in safety programs provided by outside entities. Currently, we are enrolled in Learning Management System (LMS), Safe Driver, and Drug-Free Work Place programs provided by ND Workforce Safety Insurance. LMS enables us to manage a comprehensive safety training program, with over 200 safety topics available, and monitor completion progress of safety training for each employee. We employ regulations of the Safe Driver program, in which we provide every employee with a minimum of ten core courses on Defensive Driving.
